Dimond Estates mobile home fire

At 4:40 this morning, 11 Anchorage Fire Department units responding to a 911 caller reporting smoke coming from a mobile home at 1200 W. Dimond. Engine 12 was the first unit on scene and called a working fire after seeing smoke coming from the backside of the home. The fire was rendered under control within 14 minutes and damage was limited to $10K and mostly external in nature. The fire orginated under the trailer and the origin is unknown at this time. The residents were uninjured and are staying with relatives for the night.
