WENDLER MIDDLE SCHOOL

MEDIVAC AND EXTRICATION EVENT

Excellent Photo Opportunity - October 7th - 1015 AM

The Tudor Fire Station (4) will conduct an Extrication Demonstration and Career Counseling session at Wendler Middle School on Wednesday - October 7th at  appx 1000 am.  Station crews will be assisted by LifeMed Alaska Helicopter Medivac crews to reenact  the rescue and extrication of a simulated trapped victim as a result of an auto accident.  Fire Department personnel will provide career and educational information for safe driving.   Riggs Towing has generously donated towing services for the demonstration.  Winter is just around the corner and Anchorage has numerous vehicle accidents during the winter months as conditions deteriorate.  All Media personnel are welcome to attend this exciting and worthwhile learning opportunity and demonstration.  Additional information:  Senior Capt.
